NATIONAL WOMEN’S CONFERENCE 2011
The 2011 Women's Conference will be held at the Harrogate International Centre from Thursday 17th to saturday 19th February 2011.
The branch will be arranging a meeting for all women members in order to elect delegates. We will post details on this page and also inform women members via any circular mailings once the local meeting has been scheduled. Delegates are entitled to paid time off work to attend Conference.
We provide training and support to all new delegates both before and during the Conference so that the fear and mystery of attending is removed and it becomes a valuable experience for new delegates.
You will be invited to attend a “briefing weekend” before going to Conference to ensure you have a clearer picture of how Conference works. You will be encouraged to assist in writing a motion for Conference or even to speak on a motion if you wish to do so.
